Research / Data
Data and indices with explicit rights and limitations.
Data becomes useful when its origin, meaning, time horizon and relationship to a decision are understood.
From data to context
A dataset is not a decision system. Definitions, provenance, coverage and update frequency determine what can responsibly be inferred from it. Context connects those properties to the question an organization is trying to answer.
Comparability
Indices and benchmarks are valuable only when their components and calculation rules remain stable enough for comparison. Material changes must be visible so apparent movement is not confused with a methodological change.
Responsible use
Access rights, licensing, privacy and security remain part of the analytical design. A technically available data source is not automatically appropriate for every purpose.
